On Monday, Littlerock was able to grind out a solid victory over Fairfax, taking the game 55-42. With that victory, Littlerock brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.
Littlerock's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but William Young Jr. led the charge by scoring 21 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sean Morgan, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Littlerock and bumps their season record up to 9-10. As for Fairfax, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Littlerock on the road again on Wednesday and play against Antelope Valley at 6:30 p.m. on January 17th. Antelope Valley is on a six-game streak of home losses, Littlerock a six-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. As for Fairfax, they will head out on the road to take on Westchester at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Westchester will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
