The Christian Community Warriors entered their tilt with the Westside Christian Academy Eagles with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Christian Community came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 53-46 on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Christian Community, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Xander Biederman, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Another player making a difference was Trent Douglass, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Christian Community is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Westside Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian Community is on the road again on Monday and plays the at 6:30 p.m. on February 5th. Hopefully Horizon Science Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Thursday. As for Westside Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge the Royals at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
