The Stafford Indians will face off against the Eastern View Cyclones at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Stafford came out on top against Brooke Point on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Indians took their contest against the Black Hawks 8-4. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Black Hawks: they've now won three in a row.
The team relied heavily on Kaylan Wolff, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Hall, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Eastern View came tearing into Thursday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum.
