The last time they met, Sioux Center were the 41-40 winner over Sheldon. This time around? They had no such luck. Sioux Center took a hard 14-32 fall against Sheldon. The loss was a vexing one since Sioux Center were expected to win based on their state ranking. The game pushed Sioux Center down to 2-4 and pulled Sheldon up to the reverse at 4-2.
Sioux Center will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Central Lyon/George-Little Rock in two weeks at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'. Sheldon will be playing at home against Rock Valley/Boyden-Hull at at 7:00 PM next week. Those two teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
