DuVal has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. Having just played yesterday, they will head out on the road to face off against the Suitland Rams at 7:15 p.m. on January 23rd. Suitland took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on DuVal, who comes in off a win.
Even though DuVal has not done well against Bowie recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. DuVal secured a 56-51 W over Bowie.
Meanwhile, Suitland unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They lost to Laurel on the road by a decisive 68-51 margin.
DuVal's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Suitland, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
DuVal didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Suitland when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 73-68 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for DuVal since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
