Alliance hadn't done well against Perry recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Alliance Aviators secured a 42-38 W over the Perry Panthers. This was payback for the Aviators, who suffered a 68-53 loss the last time these two teams met.

Perry lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Luke Wolf, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Preston Dazey, who went 5-for-10 en route to 11 points.

Alliance has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Perry, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.

Alliance does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Perry will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Steele at 7:00 p.m. on February 25th.
