The Llano Yellowjackets waltzed into their matchup on Friday with nine straight wins but they left with ten. Everything went their way against Ingram Moore as Llano made off with a 58-34 win. Given Llano's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 416th, while the Warriors are ranked 976th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Weston Baker was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points. He has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more points the last three times he's played. Alex Kachura was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Llano pushed their record up to 23-6 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Ingram Moore, their loss dropped their record down to 17-13.
Llano will head out on the road to challenge the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Blanco will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Ingram Moore, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Bobcats/Deer at 8:00 p.m.
