This season hasn't been kind to the Lewiston Tigers, who are still winless after their 17th match. Their  rough  48-24 defeat to Sterling  on Monday might stick with them for a while. Lewiston was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  30-9.
 Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Justice Currie, who  scored nine points along with nine  steals. That was a full 37.5% of Lewiston's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points.  DeLaney Currie was another key contributor,  scoring seven points along with five  rebounds and two  steals.
 Lewiston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Sterling, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-8.
 Lewiston will head out on the road to  face off against  Southern on Tuesday. As for Sterling, they will be playing at home against Freeman on Tuesday. Freeman is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
