Softball Recap: Davie Has No Trouble Against Parkland

Davie won the last time they faced Parkland and things went their way on Tuesday too. The War Eagles were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Mustangs. The result was nothing new for the War Eagles, who have now won eight matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Davie is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Parkland, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.

Looking ahead, Davie will challenge Glenn at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The War Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bobcats have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season. As for Parkland, they will square off against Mount Tabor at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.14 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
