Carlisle lost against Sabine on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Cardinals. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the defeat, Carlisle had strong showings from Samantha Espinoza, who had seven digs and two aces, and Makayla Holcomb, who had 12 digs and ten assists. Holcomb is also on a roll when it comes to hitting percentage, as she's posted one of at least 41.7% in the last four games she's played.

Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Sabine, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Carlisle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Waskom on the 30th. As for Sabine, they will take on Elysian Fields at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
