The Marblehead Magicians can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 72-52 margin over Danvers. The victory was nothing new for Marblehead as they're now sitting on five straight.
Danvers lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kevin Ahearn, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Luke Metivier, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Marblehead pushed their record up to 8-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points per game. As for Danvers, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marblehead will take on the Chieftains at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Danvers, they will be playing at home against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Winthrop is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
