Eads had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Springfield on Friday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Longhorns with a sharp 3-0 win. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Longhorns, too.

Eads walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-11, 25-21.

Kara Wilson paced Eads' offense, picking up 12 kills. Wilson got some help from Aspen Nelson and her 16 assists. Bailey Sierra controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Eads' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Springfield, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Eads wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Hi-Plains on the 4th. As for Springfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Holly on the 5th.
