Those three steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Beaux Turner, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Midessa was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 44-43 to Compass Academy. Midessa has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Midessa, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-4.
