The Lancaster Baptist Eagles suffered their biggest loss since November 30, 2023 on Friday. They took a serious blow against The Palmdale Aerospace Academy, falling 59-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Lancaster Baptist has suffered against The Palmdale Aerospace Academy since January 17, 2019.
The Palmdale Aerospace Academy can attribute much of their success to Sir-Gavin Epps, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 18 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Bernas, who scored seven points along with three steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Lancaster Baptist and nudges their season record down to 4-10. As for The Palmdale Aerospace Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lancaster Baptist will square off against Trinity Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Trinity Classical Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 13 games. As for The Palmdale Aerospace Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Santa Clarita Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Clarita Christian and The Palmdale Aerospace Academy are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
