The Sterling City Eagles lost against the Wink Wildcats back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Sterling City was the victim of a tough 28-6 defeat at the hands of Wink. Sterling City has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ty Turner threw for 72 yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Canyon Mccabe rushed for 48 yards.
Jeremiah Gallardo got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 115 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 136 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes. Gallardo hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for five straight games. Kemyd Faciane also helped out as he racked up 113 rushing yards.
Sterling City's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Wink, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
Sterling City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wink also has no future games currently scheduled.
