Leading Bennett to victory were Jessica Venneberg and Lily Venneberg. Venneberg dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds, while Venneberg scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds and 7 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Venneberg has scored at least 25% of Bennett's points. Raquel Thorpe was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 6 steals.
Bennett's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Bishop Machebeuf, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
