While the West Chargers couldn't quite beat the Shawnee Mission North Bison on Thursday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 46-point loss they were dealt two weeks ago. West fell just short of Shawnee Mission North by a score of 49-47. West has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, West still got an impressive performance from Jalen Foy, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Noonoo, who scored ten points.
West struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
West has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Shawnee Mission North, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
