Trumbull had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 4-3 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Wilton Warriors as they made off with a 16-1 win. The matchup marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season so far.

As for Wilton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Wilton's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sofia Samai, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Trumbull has already played their next game (against Bridgeport Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wilton, they have also already played their next matchup, an 11-3 loss against Danbury on the 28th.
