Founders Classical Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the IDEA Monterrey Park College Prep Bears 14-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-4 two weeks ago.

Joshua Syverson and Luke McCaw did most of the damage at the plate: Syverson went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs, while McCaw went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that McCaw hit this season. Raymond Spalding was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.

Founders Classical Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .760. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.

Founders Classical Academy's record now sits at 6-1. As for IDEA Monterrey Park College Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
