Long Came Up Big in Miller's 59-7 Win
Starting off the list is Miller's Trevor Long, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Long threw for 310 yards and six touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
Miller has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Long will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against King on Thursday.

Corey Holmes Makes It Two for Miller
Another Miller player making an appearance on this list is Corey Holmes. He made a tackle. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 64 yards.

Gregory-Portland Wins Third-Straight Thanks to Reed Dooms
Gregory-Portland picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Reed Dooms. Dooms did his part (and then some), throwing for 218 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes, while also rushing for 69 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries for the 'W'.
Dooms is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Carroll on Thursday. Back in August of 2023 (the last time Dooms saw the Tigers), he threw for 322 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per attempt, and also punched in a rushing score.

Brian Mccullum Puts an End to Ray's Losing Streak on Friday
Brian Mccullum helped snap Ray's six-game losing streak. Mccullum produced his best game of the campaign on Friday: he rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Ray's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. Mccullum and Ray will venture away from home to square off against Corpus Christi Moody at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Corpus Christi Moody Gets a Boost from Dufour in 56-12 Loss
Rounding off our Top Five is Kayden Dufour of Corpus Christi Moody. Dufour rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 61 yards.
This season, Dufour has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 121.6 rushing yards per game.
