Terry is 0-3 against Manvel since December of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Terry Rangers are on the road again and play against the Manvel Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. on November 2nd. Terry will be strutting in after a victory while Manvel will be coming in after a defeat.
After only seven points in their last contest, Terry made sure to put some points up on the board against Fort Bend Kempner on Saturday. Everything went Terry's way against Fort Bend Kempner as Terry made off with a 49-27 win.
Meanwhile, Manvel was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 30-26 to Fulshear. While losing is never fun, Manvel can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Fulshear is ranked 31st).
Terry's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Manvel, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Terry might still be hurting after the 28-7 loss they got from Manvel when the teams last played back in November of 2022. Thankfully for Terry, Kaeden Smith (who rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 95 yards and a touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
