Garner won the last time they faced Willow Spring and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans came out on top against the Storm by a score of 5-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Garner has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Willow Spring, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.

Garner wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 14-11 defeat against Millbrook on the 16th. Hopefully Willow Spring paid attention to the Trojans' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
