Green Bay Preble was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .387 or higher in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Sheboygan North's offense. They lost 15-0 to Pulaski on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Golden Raiders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Green Bay Preble's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-0. As for Sheboygan North, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.
Sheboygan North's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Saturday. Green Bay Preble has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 12 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Sheboygan North, though, as they've been averaging only 3.8 strikeouts. Will Green Bay Preble keep running through batters, or will the Golden Raiders buck the trend?
