Rockvale is 0-10 against the Blaze since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The pair will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Blackman took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Rockvale, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Rockvale beat the Stars 43-39. The victory was just what Rockvale needed coming off of a 49-23 loss in their prior game.
Rockvale found their leader in underclassman Jade Watson, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Maritza Wright, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Blackman's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to Oakland.
Rockvale's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Blackman, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
Rockvale might still be hurting after the 49-23 defeat they got from the Blaze in their previous matchup on Thursday. Can Rockvale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
