Duval Charter had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Foundation Christian Academy on Friday. Duval Charter was the clear victor by a 14-3 margin over Foundation Christian Academy. Duval Charter might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.

Duval Charter got a massive performance out of Michael Grimaldi, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most stolen bases Grimaldi has posted since back in February of 2024. Hayden Haynes also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Duval Charter was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .520. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Duval Charter is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Foundation Christian Academy, they moved to 12-2-1 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
