Basketball Recap: College Park Now 10-2 over Last 12 Games

College Park won the last time they faced Caney Creek, and Katie Westwood did her part to make sure it happened again. The College Park Cavaliers were the clear victor by a 43-20 margin over the Caney Creek Panthers on Tuesday thanks in part to Westwood, who went 6 for 9 on her way to 17 points and three steals. What's more, she also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Caney Creek still got an impressive performance from Kaylee Woolley, who posted four points.

College Park has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Caney Creek, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-20.

College Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-39 loss against The Woodlands on the 31st. Caney Creek has also already played their next contest, a 49-27 win against New Caney on the 31st.
