Baseball Recap: Eastern Lebanon County Gets the Win

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Eastern Lebanon County and Cocalico have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Raiders walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on April 2nd.

Braden Gettle was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Eastern Lebanon County let Queston Rivera and Tyce Boyer run wild. Rivera went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Boyer went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Eastern Lebanon County's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Cocalico, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-11.
