Not only did Central outplay Thomas Nelson on Friday, but the squad kept Thomas Nelson off the scoreboard altogether. Central put a hurting on Thomas Nelson to the tune of 47-0. Followers of Central probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
The victory was the 4th in a row for Central raised their record to 7-2. This is the second loss in a row for Thomas Nelson and nudges their record down to 3-6.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Central will square off against Pleasure Ridge Park at 7:30 PM next week. Central will be hoping to continue their now four-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for Thomas Nelson, they will face off against Bethlehem.
