Fern Creek had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 5-19 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Fairdale Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Fairdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-27 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

For Fairdale's part, Jackson Cummings made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Trey Kelly was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
