After two weeks on the road, Terrebonne is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Central Lafourche at 7:00 PM. Terrebonne have bulldozed their previous five opponents, so Central Lafourche might have their hands full.
Last Friday, Terrebonne put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season. They made easy work of East St. John and carried off a 33-12 win. No one put up better numbers for Terrebonne than junior Ja'khi Douglas, who brought his A game into the match. He picked up 115 yards on the ground and accumulated 200 passing yards. Douglas has now scored at least one touchdown in the past seven games.
Meanwhile, if Central Lafourche were riding high off their 31-3 takedown of Bourgeois two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Central Lafourche have to be aching after a bruising 21-51 defeat to Destrehan. Central Lafourche were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 7-51.
Terrebonne's victory lifted them to 7-0 while Central Lafourche's loss dropped them down to 5-2. We'll find out if Terrebonne can add another positive mark to their record or if Central Lafourche can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Terrebonne's step.
