They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Lancaster Christian Academy an easy 69-46 win. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Holloway in their matchups with Lancaster Christian Academy: they've now lost six in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lancaster Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josh Whitt, who scored 20 points. The contest was Whitt's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lincoln Miller, who scored 19 points.
Holloway's loss was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-2. As for Lancaster Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.
Holloway will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Smyrna at 5:00 p.m. on January 22, 2024. Lancaster Christian Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Boyd Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
