They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 74-26 win over Non Varsity Opponent. The victory was just business as usual for Fort Yukon, who after eight games remain undefeated this season.
Fort Yukon was led to victory by Nellie Ward and Twila Strom. Ward scored 20 points, while Strom scored 21 points. That's the first time this season that Strom scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Karli Thomas, who scored eight points.
Fort Yukon's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 89-148 record this season.
