The San Marcos Knights had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They took down Mission Hills 62-48. This was payback for San Marcos, who suffered a 65-44 defeat the last time these two teams met.
San Marcos' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jalen Williams led the charge by scoring 20 points along with seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mazen El Bissat, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
San Marcos pushed their record up to 22-6 with that victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Mission Hills, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-7.
San Marcos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mission Hills also has no future games currently scheduled.
