Waynesboro won the last time they faced Riverheads and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Little Giants blew past the Gladiators 8-1. The result was nothing new for Waynesboro, who have now won seven games by seven goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Riverheads from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Saul Ruiz led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Waynesboro has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those eight contests. As for Riverheads, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
