On Friday, Mason County is packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Fleming County at 7:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Mason County took care of business in their home opener. They steamrollered North Adams 53-0. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-0.
Meanwhile,, Fleming County couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were given a punishing 6-47 loss at the hands of Harrison County. Fleming County were down by 0-26 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Mason County's lifted them to 1-0 while Fleming County's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Mason County can add another positive mark to their record or if Fleming County can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Mason County's step.
