The Christian Learning Academy Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 87-71 fall against North Kissimmee Christian. While losing is never fun, Christian Learning Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 696th, while North Kissimmee Christian is ranked 321st).
Izaiah Noel continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for North Kissimmee Christian, shooting 6-for-8 from deep and dropping a double-double on 36 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Noel has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Pourchons Morisseau, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Christian Learning Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for North Kissimmee Christian, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-5.
Christian Learning Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Heritage Christian School at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Heritage Christian School will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for North Kissimmee Christian, they will be playing at home against Nazaret Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
