With a playoff game on the line, the Andrews Mustangs rose to the challenge on Thursday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 40-7 victory over Austin. Andrews might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four contests by 33 points or more this season.
Leading Andrews to victory were Aidyn Olivas and Jaesean DeBouse. Olivas rushed for 145 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, while DeBouse rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. DeBouse really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run. Another player making a difference was Merqucio Saiz, who rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
The victory makes it two in a row for Andrews and bumps their season record up to 6-5. As for Austin, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Andrews does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Austin also has no future games currently scheduled.
