Pahokee won against Glades Central last Thursday with seven points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Blue Devils didn't even let the Okeechobee Brahmans on the board, marking the Blue Devils' second-straight 7-0 shutout. This was payback for the Blue Devils, who suffered a 13-12 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Pahokee is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 3.0 points on average over those games. As for Okeechobee, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pahokee will head out to challenge Palm Beach Central at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Blue Devils 10.6, the Broncos 12.3) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Okeechobee, they are taking a road trip to take on Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cobras will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Brahmans surely won't give up without a fight.
