The Murray Spartans entered their tilt with the Granger Lancers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Murray blew past Granger 56-24 on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-8.
It was another big night for Mia Auclaire, who scored 20 points along with 8 rebounds. The matchup was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lexi Davies, who scored 7 points along with 10 rebounds.
Murray now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Granger, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Murray will take on Maple Mountain at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Maple Mountain presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Murray in Utah (Maple Mountain is ranked 28th, while Murray is ranked 85th). As for Granger, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Tooele at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. Tooele comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
