The Prairie View Academy Spartans put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Mount Olive Christian 74-10 at home. Considering Prairie View Academy has won four contests by more than 37 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Prairie View Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tollan Wallace, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Abram Anthony, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Prairie View Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Mount Olive Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prairie View Academy will take on Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Mount Olive Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Psalms Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on November 28th. Psalms Christian Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
