The Crete-Monee Warriors were the  42-39 winner over the Rich Township Raptors when they last played one another  back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Crete-Monee took a   44-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rich Township. While losing is never fun, Crete-Monee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings  (they are ranked 275th, while Rich Township is ranked 47th).
 Rich Township got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Sherrie Emmons out in front who  scored 15 points along with 9  rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which  Emmons has scored at least 25% of Rich Township's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  E'Mani Spencer, who  scored 8 points along with 8  rebounds and 3  steals.
 Crete-Monee has  been struggling recently, as they've  lost three of their last four contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Rich Township, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
 Crete-Monee will head out on the road to face off against Bolingbrook at 12:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Bolingbrook knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Crete-Monee likes a good challenge. As for Rich Township, they will be playing at home against Thornton at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
