Noxon scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. 2025 welcomed they with a 62-39 loss courtesy of the Troy Trojans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Red Devils have suffered against the Trojans since January 19, 2017.

This is the second loss in a row for Noxon and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Troy, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Noxon will look to defend their home court on Friday against Plains. Plains' defense has only allowed 25.2 points per game this season, so Noxon's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Troy, they will challenge St. Regis on January 11th.
