The Deshler Dragons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Harvard at home to the tune of 67-30. The victory was some much needed relief for Deshler as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Deshler's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carson Sieber led the charge by dropping a double-double on 21 points and 16 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sieber has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Kleen, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Deshler's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Harvard, they bumped their record down to 2-11 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Deshler will face off against Superior at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Superior has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 15. As for Harvard, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Silver Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Silver Lake will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
