The Mifflin Punchers can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They snuck past Whetstone with a 66-60 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Tariq Johnson was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was John Glover, who scored 13 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Mifflin's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Whetstone, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.
