The Aspermont Hornets can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Rule 58-22 on the road. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Aspermont also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Aspermont got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaxon Hodges out in front who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds. Hodges hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Broshears, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.
Aspermont pushed their record up to 18-10 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Rule, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.
Aspermont will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Electra at 6:00 p.m. on February 20th. Hopefully Aspermont focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday. Rule does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
