Softball Recap: Ursuline Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Ursuline Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 21-2 margin over the Morris Jeff Pelicans. Considering the Lions have won eight contests by more than 12 runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ursuline Academy now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Morris Jeff, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ursuline Academy will square off against Haynes Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Morris Jeff, they will face off against Livingston Collegiate Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
