Riley Gilson continued his hot streak on Thursday by dropping his fifth-straight game with at least one stolen base. He scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. West Campus is undefeated when Gilson posts two or more runs, but 3-5 otherwise.

Gilson's strong effort led West Campus over Johnson and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Campus is 8-1 against Johnson going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
