The Shaw Raiders pushed their score all the way to 57 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. Their  tough  79-57 defeat to Harris County  might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Shaw can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings  (they are ranked 207th, while Harris County is ranked 64th).
 Despite the loss, Shaw still got an impressive performance from   Tiara Tucker, who  scored 31 points along with seven  steals. That was a full 54.4% of Shaw's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Brooke Shipp, who  scored 12 points along with three  steals.
 This is  the second loss in a row for Shaw and  nudges their season record down to 11-9. As for Harris County, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 13 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shaw will take on Bainbridge at 4:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Harris County, they will be playing at home against Northside at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Northside is hoping to put an end to  a four-game streak of away losses.
