Cass Tech barely beat Renaissance the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Technicians blew past the Phoenix 18-2 on Friday. Considering the Technicians have won 16 contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Kyle Terry made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Terry was even better at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Cass Tech got a massive performance out of Emmet Mitchell II, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
