In what's become a running theme this season, Palmetto Christian Academy gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. Everything went their way against Pee Dee Academy as Palmetto Christian Academy made off with a 49-24 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Palmetto Christian Academy has posted since November 28, 2023.
Palmetto Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cokey Suddeth out in front who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Suddeth has scored at least a third of Palmetto Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Adelaide Suddeth, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Pinewood Prep suffered their biggest loss since November 30, 2023 on Monday. They took a serious blow against Ashley Ridge, falling 54-23. While losing is never fun, Pinewood Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 200th, while Ashley Ridge is ranked 43rd).
Palmetto Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Pinewood Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-12.
